Social and responsible policy

«In the world of food where more and more concerns are being raised, Bjorg, Bonneterre & Compagnie have chosen to offer products that are committed to acting as viable alternatives to the dominant model. For more than 48 years, our business has combined economic growth and sustainable development while proposing products that are truly meaningful and full of flavour. More specifically, today we are number one for organic foods in France, with a presence in two complimentary distribution networks: large retailers and specialist healthfood stores. We have put innovation at the heart of our approach and each year we launch hundreds of new products. For us, it is a pleasure to take part every day in this wonderful adventure.  »

Daniel Tirat, Managing Director of Bjorg, Bonneterre & Compagnie

As a key player in the organic market, we have a responsibility to protect the environment. Since 2007, we have been committed to a sustainable development approach in response to the ISO 14001 and ISO 26000 standards.
Thanks to our collaborators we have developed a corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy, that has been added to by our stakeholders, who have assisted us in defining clear expectations.

Our societal approach hinges on four fundamental challenges:

  • Nutrition and simplicity

Improve the nutritional quality and natural simplicity of our products.

    Encourage research on nutrient density.

    Strengthen the traceability and transparency
    of our supply chains.

  • Awareness-raising for an alternative dietary model

Advocate before decision-makers for another outlook on agricultural production and food choices.

Promote organic and alternative foods among
    everyday citizens.

  • Sustainable agricultural practices

    Contribute towards the development of
eco-agricultural practices within our supply chains.

  • Interactive and open society

Invent solutions for tomorrow involving our stakeholders.

Build long-term partnership networks so as to optimise the quality and sustainability of our supply chains.
